Kids Grappling: Built for Focus, Safety, and Growth

Our kids grappling program at Williamsburg MMA is designed to help children build confidence, coordination, and self-control through structured, age-appropriate training.

Classes focus on:

This is not chaotic play and it’s not adult training scaled down.

Why Our Kids Classes Are 30 Minutes

Children learn best in short, focused blocks.

Instead of one long class, we teach kids in two back-to-back 30-minute sessions, allowing them to:

  • Stay engaged without burnout

  • Absorb instruction more effectively

  • Reset focus between segments

  • Progress at a pace that suits them

Parents can choose to enroll their child in:

  • One 30-minute class, or

  • Both back-to-back sessions for extended training

This structure keeps training productive, safe, and positive.

What Kids Learn in Grappling Class

Our kids grappling program draws from:

  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

  • Wrestling fundamentals

  • Judo-based balance and control

Training emphasizes:

Kids Grappling Class Schedule

Monday

  • 3:00 – 3:30 PM

  • 3:30 – 4:00 PM

Wednesday

  • 4:00 – 4:30 PM

  • 4:30 – 5:00 PM

Each class is 30 minutes.
Students may attend one or both consecutive sessions depending on age, attention span, and experience.
